Hello again! been organizing all my pictures to blog about so be patient with me!
This will be yet another beauty post for you with facial problems like me!
I am obsessed with the pores on my face that everytime I look into the mirror, all I can see is pores
Then I buy different products that "kononnya" says that it minimizes pores and shit like that
and will be disappointed once again and this circle is never ending one *sigh
So I decided to try instead the salon way of cleaning my face in and out
Last week, I made an appointment with Esme Clinic at Jaya One having known about their carbon blast laser facial treatment from Facebook (guilty!)
The consultant there were super friendly and professional that they will first ask you about your facial problem then provide the best treatment for it
Seen here is Caryln analyzing my face


 After analyzing and suggesting that yes, the carbon blast laser is indeed THE treatment for me, they brought me to the treatment room
on the way there, I couldn't help but to take pictures of their interior, it all screams comfy!!

First of all, allow me to introduce what this carbon blast laser facial treatment is all about...

The famous Carbon Ion Nano-Lambency therapy combines the ND: YAG (1064 nm) laser and Carbon Ion Powder to effectively brighten your skin, reduce your open pores, reduce pigmentations (Nevus of Ota, coffee spot, age spot, freckle etc) and stimulate the regeneration of the collagen fiber of your skin.

Skin is the largest organ of the body. It is made up of two layers, the upper 'epidermis' and the lower 'dermis'. The epidermis and the dermis are further divided into other layers.


The lower most layer of the epidermis is known as the basal layer and it contains organelles called 'melanosomes'. These melanosomes contain cells called melanocytes which produce a pigment called 'melanin'. 

The color of skin depends mainly on this melanin and the amount of melanin present in the other layers of the epidermis. The thickness of epidermis and vascularity of the epidermis are other factors affecting the color of skin.


Therapy

1. Carbon powder, as an exogenous artificial color agent, possesses strong absorptive capacity to absorb the dirt deep in the pores and attract pigment in epidermis layer.

2. The carbon powder has excellent absorption properties on 1064nm laser light.


3. The medical graded laser generates high energy and heat to stimulate the regeneration of  the collagen fiber under the skin. The body's natural repair function leads to the collagen's redeposition and rearrangement, which results in reducing the wrinkles and fine lines, shrinking pores, smoothing skin, regain a brighter, more even and luminous complexion.


TREATMENT THEORY:

The laser radiates the light of specific wavelength in high peak energy pulse, and in ultra-short nanosecond the light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by the pigment and result in an instantaneous blast.

The pigment particles are shattered into fragments, parts of them will be bounced out of the skin and the other parts will be split into tiny particles that can be engulfed by phagocytes and then eliminated by lymphatic system.

- The effect is 12 times more than the common laser machines.
- It not only enhances the effect of thrashing the pigmentation, but also avoids the blain and scar after laser treatment.

- Whiten and shrink your pores
- Refine and shape facial skin
- Control excessive sebum/ remove dead skin cells

- Radiant skin

It's not as scary as it sounds and looks 


When the laser was going, all I felt were tiny prickling sensation and that's all
except for the occasional firecracker smell lol Caryln says that that means the area that she's blasting has more dirt or oil
I was prepared to sneeze when she did it on my nose as I have very sensitive nose
but nothing happened!

After that, a moisturizing gel were applied on my face after the shooting and blasting lol
You will need extra moisture after it as the treatment blasted away all the dirts and your pores are wide open


last but not least, I'm sure you'll like to see the before after picture for proof lol so here it is
